Natalia Outkina comes from a family with a strong tradition in classical Fine Arts. She was born in Kishinev, Moldova, and later moved to St. Petersburg, Russia.
She studied art part-time at the Mukhina Academy of Art in St. Petersburg (Russia).
In 1999, Natalia moved to Toronto, where she is a registered member of various art associations both in the city and abroad, including the Toronto Watercolour Society, the International Watercolor Society, and the National Watercolor Society.
Her work seeks to connect with people's emotions. Her paintings are both personal and universal.
For many years, as an arts educator, she has helped individuals and communities find their voice and express their concerns through individual and collaborative art projects.
Currently, she works with artists in different creative spaces around the world, exchanging ideas that foster artistic growth, empathy, and new perspectives.
Her watercolors have been recognized internationally and exhibited in Japan, Italy, India, Bolivia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Greece, Vietnam, Nepal, France, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, and Poland.
Her works are part of private collections in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Eastern Europe.
Through her art, she seeks to bridge cultures and promote intercultural understanding.
Her work is characterized by vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes that convey a deep emotional charge.
