Recipient of the 2024 Arthur Ross Award for Fine Arts from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art in New York.

Awarded the Raphael Prize 2024, a Graham Foundation grant, and the Hugh Ferriss Memorial Prize twice.

Author of three books: 'Architecture in Watercolor' (McGraw Hill), winner of the AIA award; 'The Art of Architectural Drawing' (J. Wiley and Sons); and 'Thomas W. Schaller, Architect of Light: Watercolor Paintings by a Master' (Penguin/Random House, 2018).

Globally recognized as a speaker, exhibitor, author, instructor, and juror.

Artist Network Television produced two successful instructional video series and DVDs on his technique, and in 2020 Creative Catalyst/Streamline Video released a long video on his process.

In October 2021, he launched an interactive online curriculum titled 'Design and the Power of Imagination' with Terracota LLC.

His work is in global collections and permanent exhibitions, including the John Museum in Shanghai, Tchoban Foundation in Fabriano, The Pacific Arts Foundation in Berlin, The Museum of Watercolor in Newport Beach, and in Mexico City.

He has participated in international exhibitions in over 20 countries, such as: Three Modern Masters (Florida, 2020), Universal Watercolor Maestro Biennale (Shanghai, 2019), exhibitions in Moscow, New Delhi, Fabriano, New York, Shanghai, Qingdao, St. Petersburg and more.

In the U.S., he exhibited at The American Watercolor Society, The National Watercolor Society, and The Transparent Watercolor Society of America among others.

He has spoken at international events such as Watercolor Live, Plein-Air Conference PACE, Roman Watercolor Society, Tchoban Museum, National Watercolor Society, California Art Club and Pushkin Museum in Moscow.

He has received numerous awards including first place at Watercolor International VI 2023 by Circle Arts Foundation, Artist of the Year 2023 (Lyon), Architizer One Drawing Architectural Competition 2022 among other significant recognitions.

His works and writings have been published in numerous specialized magazines and books including the Splash series: The Best of Watercolor.

Member of American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, International Masters Alliance, California Watercolor Association, and others.

Advisory board member of American Watercolor Weekly, Streamline Media, and Terracotta LLC.

Emeritus President of the American Society of Architectural Illustrators and founding member of the North American Watercolor Artists.

Represented in New York by Gallery 71.
